Who I am

As someone who loves language, precision and structure, working as a professional linguist in the field of medicine with English was a natural fit. Medicine is also an exciting area - one where I feel my work has a real impact. I’m passionate about making complex issues understandable and helping doctors and scientists communicate effectively.

After 5 years of healthcare experience in the UK, I was headhunted for a position as a life sciences and cardiology terminologist. This role sparked a passion for the clinical trial industry as well as the accuracy and consistency achieved with glossaries and translation software. Attracted by the idea of working remotely as part of a collaborative team, I then decided to work towards setting out on my own.

As a freelance medical linguist, the numerous years spent working in the fields of cardiology and clinical trials mean I understand how important translation is for everyone involved. Therefore, I always respond to emails within a couple of minutes and pride myself on delivering first-rate translations with swift turnaround times.
